The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants

               

Setelah sekian lama teringin nak tengok filem ni, akhirnya berkesempatan jugak menonton di saluran HBO.

Kenapa aku nak tengok filem ni?

• Salah seorang pelakon ialah Alexis Bledel. Masa tu tengah popular siri Gilmore Girls.
• Perkataan 'sisterhood' menarik perhatian. Kisah kekeluargaan/persahabatan selalunya worth watching.

Filem ni tahun 2005. Kenapa ambil masa lama baru dapat tengok? Tak boleh download atau beli cd ke?

• Good question. Aku pun tak tahu kenapa.

Lepas tengok filem ni, AKU SUKA! Walaupun ada skip some parts sebab tukar-tukar channel tengok cerita lain di channel lain, tetap menangkap di hati weyh! (now I should get Astro Beyond PVR). 

Aku suka filem ni sebab:

• It tells you that when you have found your sisterhood, you can find ways to stay connected although you are far away from each other. In this case, by just passing on the pants. If I'm not mistaken, for every week they have to pass it on to each other. Magically, all the four pairs of pants suit all four of them perfectly, although of different sizes and shapes. And, something magical will happen when they wear them. Well, it's actually not the pants that magical, but coincidentally the pants become the witness for every significant moment happened in their lives during the summer break. When they meet again after the summer, something in their lives have changed, and the sisterhood strengthened.

• Aku bukan setakat kenal Alexis Bledel seorang sekarang, tapi aku kenal lagi 2 orang i.e. Blake Lively (Gossip Girl) dan America Farrera (Ugly Betty). Lagi seorang aku tak kenal, tapi mesti yang selalu berlakon series jugak.

Looking forward to watch the 2nd part of the movie, and perhaps to read the best-selling novels too. Found out that there are 5 of them. Buku kat rumah banyak-banyak beli masa Pesta Buku tahun lepas pun tak habis baca lagi. Ah! Tekanan!
